Architecture

I've always been fascinated...

Since the early days of VRay, this is going back about 20 years I've always had this fascination with architecture, you will often stumble across just some most beautiful designs, beautiful lighting and even to this day, it blows my mind.

So I've always wondered are there elements that can be borrowed and brought into the FMCG / eLearning disciplines.

A few projects and internal tests have been carried out in this section, including some of the client work I've been involved with.

The retreats...

I had a gig come up last year where I was tasked with creating several variations of the same product, how would one tackle this?

Using Blender and Geo-nodes of course, a procedural build would allow me to create the dimensions and populate items based on size.

If Carlsberg built bars...

My last month at Taxi Studio threw a curveball, we did a lot of work for Carlsberg in terms of branding and product design, but this turned out to be something completely new.

This was an insane part of the project, several designers were involved, and always wanting to alter this and that, on the fly can we chance the colour, can we change the shape, arghhhh!

So taking a step back, investing a little time with no it can't be done, let's pick this up tomorrow, I then set out to create some elements procedurally. That is, build a block out, have it auto populate with different attributes. Thankfully, this worked out very well, the building beams and the long seat went through many variations to get the right look and feel.
